When the weather’s just too much but you still want to climb… here’s our list of climbing walls to keep you satisfied.

Yorkshire

Ingleton 
Over 300 square meters of lead climbing wall with in-situ quickdraws and lower-off belays and there are routes to suit all abilities from novice to crag rat. There are 150 square meters plus of bouldering walls at various angles with many colour coded problems as well as a ceiling roof, with loft above which has a steep “training woody”, pull up bars etc.

Cumbria (Lake District)

Kendal 
Open daily, a huge climbing centre on the outskirts of Kendal with cafe, shop and many different rooms and features.
