• Introductory Climbing days in the great outdoors. Never climbed outside before or want to improve your skills and climb in some great locations across the peak district.

These rock climbing weekends are designed to be the start of a new adventure and challenge. The trips will involve top roping, technique training, coaching, protection and gear demonstrations, laughs  and much more. Rachel will get you ready and warmed up for the day, whilst we set up lines on various graded routes so there will be something to challenge everyone. Whatever routes you climb it is sure to be great fun in a beautiful landscape. This is available to anyone, from novice to the competent indoor climber or outdoor climber wanting a chilled experience. Our guides are fully qualified and will tailor the time to suit you and the group. It’s always possible to watch as a spectator, encourage each other and relax.

Getting there:

You will need to get yourselves to and from the location. People usually share lifts as this is more fun and is cheaper as you can share petrol costs. If you are planning on staying overnight on the trips we can let you know where we have camped in the past. There are always B &Bs nearby if you prefer. For each trip you book onto we will let you know the meeting point, usually in a cafe. In general we will meet ready to depart at 10am and the day will finish around 4pm. (This may change dependent upon location).

09:00-10:00 Meet up

Meeting in a local cafe, stock up on breakfast and supplies before we head to a local crag for the day.

10:00-16:00 Rock climbing

Introductions, safety briefing at the crag, whilst your experienced guides setup the climbs for the morning. We don’t tend to stop for lunch, but encourage people to take regular food and drink onboard, as most are not used to climbing for 6 hours. You can expect to climbing anything from 5 to 15 climbs in a day, depending on what level and challenge you set yourself.

Back to base, for a cuppa, chat, review and relax.
