The limestone that runs throughout the Yorkshire Dales, makes this part of the country unique. It gives us extensive cave systems and rock formations across the area, making it one of the major areas for caving in the UK. However if you fancy staying above ground then one of our guided walks and talks is for you.
The ability to navigate when out on a walk is an essential safety skill. Whether on a mountain, bridleway, footpath or Moor, the ability to know where you have been, where you are and where you are going is fundamental.
We visit the three highest peaks in Yorkshire. Pen-y-Ghent at 691m, Whernside at 728m and finally Ingleborough at 723m. The total distance walked is 37.5km/24 miles and 5,361ft/1643m of ascent), with the aim of completing this in less than 12 hours.
